Graduate Student, Classics
About
I am a graduate student studying Classical Philology at Harvard University after a happy undergraduate stint at Brown University and a year-abroad at Oxford. Generally, my academic interests orbit around the tracing of elements of archaic Greek poetry back to their bronze-age predecessors. In terms of specific linguistic interests, I am interested in derivational processes of lengthened grade formations in Indo-European. I also enjoy researching the connections between the works of Seneca and Lucan as an extension of the age-old debate about the relationship between tragedy and epic.
Perhaps as hold-overs from my time as a powerlifter, I enjoy cooking and lifting weights in my spare time.
