I work on Renaissance art and intellectual history, comprising Renaissance floors, including material culture and inconological meaning, but also Renaissance libraries, inventories, readers and the intellectual background. I published a monograph on Renaissance floors in Italy (2008). A monograph on the Renaissance Library of the Badia Fiesolana will be published this year, Next year follows a monograph on the Sienese cathedral floor.
