My regional interests are in Mesoamerica, primarily focusing on the Maya. I specialize in remote sensing, using digital satellite data to locate archaeological phenomena in the landscape. I use this information to consider how people interacted with those features in the past, and examine the interplay between the architectural and environmental elements with respect to the soil and architecture and climatic processes. My current research focuses on settlement patterns, and household archaeology.
