Graduate Student, Linguistics

Jay Jasanoff

About

I come from Łódź, Poland, studied and/or worked in Łódź, Munich, Ljubljana and Oslo, and am currently a graduate student at the Department of Linguistics, Harvard University.

My research interests are:

• Slavic linguistics;
• Indo-European linguistics;
• the position of (Balto-)Slavic within the Indo-European language family;
• building a connection between the modern reconstruction of Proto-Indo-European and that of Proto-Slavic (phonology, accentology, morphology).

I also enjoy learning (modern) languages, music (classical, jazz, electronic, rock), travel, and taking notice of the general absurdity encountered in daily life (cf. my co-authored website http://nierobpudru.blogspot.com - predominantly in Polish).
