About
I am a syntactician working on Thai and other East and Southeast Asian languages, bringing facts about syntactic variation to bear on syntactic theory. My thesis will be on the syntax of numeral classifiers. I have also done work on Moro, a Kordofanian langauge, with the Moro Language Project at UCSD, including work on tone. This relates to my more general interests in prosody and the syntax-phonology and morphology-phonology interfaces.
