About

I am a cognitive scientist interested in all aspects of the human mind. My past research has concentrated on visual cognition (imagery, attention, shape recognition), language acquisition (syntax, morphology, and lexical semantics), and psycholinguistics (processing of regular and irregular morphology). Current research projects include studies of indirect speech, analogical reminding, intracranial recording of language processing, and genotype-phenotype correlations. I am currently working on a book on the historical decline of violence and its psychological roots.
